Software - Firefox "open containing folder" in Konqueror

Hi everybody

Somewhere along the way, Firefox has lost its' association to Konqueror for the action "open containing folder" when right clicking an item in its' download manager. It used to work just fine for me in my Kanotix installation but now nothing happens when I click "open containg folder".
Because it used to work and the fact that it works on the live cd, I assume there must be a configuration I can maneuver to correct it. I know there is no setting I can find in Firefox to register a default for the action and the Firefox forums have been no help.
It's not a big problem but it's an annoying one that a lot of research hasn't resolved. Any insights would be appreciated.
Thanks

Titel: Problem corrected: Firefox "open containing folder"
A few posts on other forums refered to Firefox picking up Gnome settings and using Nautilus instead of Konqueror when running KDE. I took a shot and installed Nautilus and sure enough, clicking "open containing folder" opened the folder in a Nautilus window. Then, all there was to do was to right click on a folder in Nautilus, choose properties, pick "open with" and choose Konqueror.
Firefox 'open containing folder' now opens folders in Konqueror.
I still don't know where Firefox is looking for the info on which file manager to use so I wouldn't know how to fix it without installing Nautilus, but at least this workaround seems acceptable.

ayebegeebee,

You mention right clicking an item in its' download manager. I don't know if this is what you are looking for but if you open Edit, Options and click on the Content tab, towards the bottom is a block named "File Types" It says "Configure how Minefield handles certain types of files" You can click on Manage button and get a window named Download Actions. This is where firefox (Minefield) shows how certain file types are handled. Is this by any chance what you are looking for? If not, sorry.
