During some (mis)management of my installed kernels, I have lost a default kernel in the grub list. Also, the last kernel I added isn't at the top of the list. I use the Kanotix-Update-GUI for kernel updates. How do I get a default kernel based on the latest update?

Simply edit (as root) /boot/grub/menu.lst
Put whatever kernel you like first.
