G'day
After installing the xCDroast, for initial configuration I run xCDroast as root but I get an error:
> Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
> Xlib: No protocol specified
> (xcdroast:10172): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:
can anyone decipher this, pls?
cheers

Simple fix, DON'T run it as root, never!

yes, but the xCDroast asks to be configured by root when first run!
The message that comes after fresh installation is:
Warning:
No root configuration file found or not readable!
The superuser must start and configure X-CD-Roast first, before other users can use it.
thus my earlier said problem with Gtk error?!

Instead of using su to go to root, use sux.
