Firefox seg faults when I set wallpapers. Doesn't matter if I go through Konqueror, or KControl. I don't get any errors besides the seg fault when I run it from CL. I've tried unloading my extensions and themes, and reinstalling. Any ideas on this? I'm running the latest from D-U.
Thanx,

You might want to do
apt-get remove --purge firefox
Then go to
/home/"username"/.mozilla/firefox and remove your profiles and firefox folder
Then apt-get install firefox
Someone else might have a different solution |

Tried it. Thought it might be a prob with firefox, but if I'm the only one with the problem, I doubt that it is. Have been seriously considering wiping my hd and completely reinstalling everything, including home. Maybe that will fix the prob...heh
Thanx,

When installing new extensions in FF, I usually get a seg error upon restarting it. I've found that going to CL and openning FF as root once, then closing it, allows me to launch FF normally as a user from the kde start menu. Don't know if this will help in your case.
