Titel: Eclipse on x64 (missing libswt-pi-gtk-3232.so)

I'm currently running the latest Kanotix64 installed on my hard drive and JDK 1.6 beta2 b93.
I went to Eclipse.org and downloaded version 3.2. Eclipse won't run. It complains about notfinding:
$HOME/eclipse/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/bundles/15/1/.cp/libswt-pi-gtk-3232.so
which is there and in the right place. Has anyone sucessfully gotten eclipse 3.2 to work on x64?
Is there some gtk library I need to install?

Installing packages from source or strange binaries not packaged for current debian sid (no, Ubuntu is not Debian!) is always a bad idea, especially if it's not 32 bit i386. I really doubt the small version bump is worth the trouble, it propbably won't take long for sid to get updated packages. |

Sure, I saw that, but it didn't really answer my question.
My company has an Eclispse mirror so I was downloading/installing the 64 bit install of Eclipse. Seems like the Eclipse folks would have
tested their install on a 64 bit system.
slh, you know I like to push the envelop;) If 3.1.2-2 installs (and works) I'll use it, but it seems like taking a step backwards;)

The answer for the previuus version was you needed to install libswt-gtk-3.2-jni
In konqueror just use url apt:/ to find out the answers to these questions |
