I used GParted to reformat a partition to FAT32. Next I tried to assign a dos disk label to the partition.
My all partitions are now gone.
I think my data must be there. How do I get my data back ?
There are some data not backed up. I have Kanotix RC7 CD, can it be if any use ?
Please Help. Urgent. |

| You can use testdisk to recover partitions. It's on the Kanotix CD, but be careful. |

How does it compare with Hiren's BootCD ? Someone gave both options. |

Could not run testdisk with Kanotix Live CD, I have 192 MB RAM + 64 MB Video.
Hiren's BOOTCD worked.
