I cannot hardly believe what I've discovered. I was lamenting the fact that I didn't have a way to digitize my analog music collection after migrating from M$, until last night I found Audacity...why am I so stupid? Should have noticed it earlier.
Is there a comprehensive list of applications and their general functions for Kanotix? I keep coming across wonderful programs I either overlooked or was unaware of (some of the names fo the programs aren't familiar to me).
Wow, everyday, in everyway, I'm getting better and better.  |

you can search in the kanotix-packetlist for desired programms:
http://kanotix.com/files/fix/kanotix-packages.txt
long time ago i've seen a list that compared windows-progs with linux-progs. for example that outlook ist similar to kmail etc... try google.. maybe you'll find something like this |

| The original version of that list is here in English. In my experience angelfire sites are not very reliable and seem to disappear often. |

I have picked up both versions and will put them into our wiki. However, the English version seens to be quite outdated.
