| I have a couple of debian packages that are not in the repository and I can't install them, hopefully someone can help. Thanks in advance! I did it in kanotix-2005-04 but I'm using kanotix-2006-easter-rc4 I'm not sure the difference. also sorry for being dumb if it's really easy. |

| Well you simply use dpkg -i pkg.deb to install a deb. What packages are these btw that you cannot find in a Debian repository? Perhaps you simply do not have the appropriate repo in your sources.list? |

| Well it's not anything important, a cpuinfo applet, and a package of window decorations, also it worked well thanks |
