| I've downloaded and installed kanotix hellfire 2012-05 but I can not access root terminal. It asks me to log in using root password. I enter it, but nothing happens. no terminal opens up. How else can I access root? |

| Just use the normal termanl and then su or for running gui apps: sux. Then press enter and use your root pw. |

oh wow I forgot about su. been using other distros so I got used to using sudo.

| another quick question how do I install a flash plug in? been trying to use apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree but it is unable to locate package |

| nevermind. I logged in using su, then i apt-get update and that fixed my problem. Now I need to find something like gnome's alsa mixer for this and I'll be set with this distro |

| If you need pulseaudio look at !pa for hellfore or !pa-df for dragonfire (in the chat). |
